Our Story

Since 2017, Nathan has grown his own microgreens for family and friends. As a military family, however, we were never in one spot for more than two years to start our own farm.

Finally, in 2020, we found ourselves digging deep roots in Clarksville. Brittni decided to get out of the Army and together both Nathan and Brittni started Deepwood Farms. Realizing the dream of owning our own plot of land led to some indulgences...

We started with some chickens, which led to ducks and a goose; suddenly we had three dogs, seven alpacas, and two beehives.

We had all these ideas, but needed a way to support the extra mouths to feed. With help from friends and family, we started marketing our delicious and nutritious microgreens to local restaurants in Clarksville. The Summer of 2022 was our first Farmer’s Market and we could not be more thrilled to have so many loyal customers! Our main focus for 2022 is to increase our infrastructure to support more chefs and even create a way for our loyal Farmer’s Market friends to get greens from us year round! Our 2023 goals will be to start selling our Deepwood Raw Honey as well as our homespun alpaca wool. Please follow us on instagram and facebook to keep in touch and get the latest updates on the farm.
